All these negative comments left here should be scrubbed off because since Shaun has taken over recently, The Norman Warrior - in my view - is now a 5 star pub & restaurant. I'm not the only one who agrees as The Norman Warrior has just been awarded the title of the regions finest pub & restaurant - and there's a lot of pubs around this region!!!. There are many different drinks available, the food is fantastic, the staff are all very pleasant and the annual beer festival, (which is held in the beer garden on the August bank holiday), draws in hundreds of people. There are numerous other activities going on throughout the year and what better way to end each year than to enjoy a fantastic New Years Eve party (which I’ve been to for the past 2 consecutive years here!!), topped off with excellent live entertainment. A VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE TO EAT, DRINK, AND RELAX. Well-done Shaun.

We go here quite alot, its up the road from us and have always had a good meal, thats why we keep coming back.
P.s My Dad's a real Ale drinker and enjoys the guest ales!!

shaun is the manager is so friendly and always now's what he talking about beerwise we speack the same fluent language and when im feeling down with my wife i always enjoy coming to THIS pub ---cheers mayte-----

its great love all the staf as they are so welcoming and friendly the selection of beer and drinks are huge and every other day its different the is sevred 12 till 9 and always to the best standard i am a requalar and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere highly recommened

I was actually in the restaurant when this person was complaining and I thought the waitig staff dealt with this person very well, as you could tell they were going to be trouble from the start. Personally I don't think the staff at the NW could have been more polite and it was the customer who was rude and obnoxious. I eat here on a regular basis and the food is reasonably priced, and the staff always friendly and accommodating.
